Born of the celebrated main line of the Japanese house Issey Miyake, this striking dress, which can also be worn as a tunic, embodies with its ethereal architecture the sculptural mastery, textile innovation and avant-garde pleating that define the label. Made in Japan from a fine, ultra-light and crease-resistant technical polyester tulle with a mesh structure (100% polyester), it stands out for a surprising interplay of colour blocks in coral red, pure white and deep black. Its batwing or poncho silhouette features a refined play of contrasting permanent pleats: a net or diamond pattern on the upper torso giving way to bold horizontal stripes, fitted sleeves in white vertical pleats and an asymmetric handkerchief hem.
