Born out of the revolutionary A-POC (A Piece of Cloth) project conceived by Issey Miyake and Dai Fujiwara, this technical, deconstructed jacket represents a milestone in the history of avant-garde textile design. Handcrafted in Japan (Made in Japan / Miyake Design Studio) from a structured blend rich in wool and cotton (55% wool, 30% cotton, 14% nylon, 1% polyester) in a charcoal black shade, it stands out for its extraordinary texture, featuring organic cuts and raw-edge frayed hems. Its three-dimensional architectural design features a concealed front placket with a funnel neck or high lapel, an adjustable waist with a matching fabric tie/belt, and intricate exposed stitching and dynamic seams on the sleeves and back (Ref. AP68-FD009, size 2 JP / S – international M). An indispensable historical archive gem for collectors of conceptual and designer Japanese fashion.
