Part of Issey Miyake’s HaaT artisanal line —created in collaboration with Makiko Minagawa— this skirt embodies mastery in the combination of organic textures and experimental pleating techniques. Handcrafted in Japan (Made in Japan) from a luxurious blend of cupro and silk (82% cupro, 17% silk, 1% slit-yarn nylon), it offers a flowing drape with a very subtle silky sheen and a play of semi-transparency at the hem. Its design features a tonal gradient in horizontal stripes that transition from midnight blue to purple and black. It stands out for its elasticated, gathered waistband with micro-embossed details that gradually open out into a flowing, lightweight skirt (Ref. HA16-FG750, size 3 JP / M–L international). An extremely versatile, fresh and sophisticated piece from the textile archive.
